Pefect location for train station and St George's Hall. Only a short walk to the other places of interest and the shops. Clean hotel, spacious room, friendly staff.

The staff were extremely friendly. The food was quite ordinary with little imagination used. The leisure centre was small but excellent with good staff.

The breakfast dining area was a bit disorganised with staff permanently cleaning tables while guests waited for platters, bread, etc. to be replenished

I loved the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel, especially the room service with soft clean towels every day. I also enjoyed having tea and coffee facilities and appreciated the fact that the hotel actually replaced biscuits regularly. Excellent service

It fulfilled everything it promised when booking. The room was pleasant, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for my requirements.

We stayed at this hotel the weekend it was originally opened as the Swallow Hotel (Oct 1998 if I remember correctly) and had an idea of what to expect. We were not disappointed. The satff were all very helpful and breakfast very good. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, close to railway and bus stations.

Ufortunately we were not aware that some rooms were "smoking" and therefore were in a "non smoking" room, unlike our previous stay. Having a room where we could smoke would have made a big difference.

We were upgraded to a better room than we had booked and it was wonderful. Lots of luxurious extras and the staff were very helpful.

It was very central, close to the train station and ideal for shopping and seeing the sights.

The breakfast was average, nothing special. I also found it very noisy outside the hotel at night.

The locations is really good near restaurants and bars, Our room was excellent. Requested a nice room for husbands 60th and got a really good one

car parking was bit expensive, I paid for 2 cars and was charged twice, but that was accidental so do not hold that against them

Location was excellent. Staff were very helpful and polite. Clean comfortable rooms.
